Senior Technician

Work for 3 days per month in the City with the rest of the time working remotely from home. Our client is a leading Lloyds registered broker with a global portfolio of clients across a diverse range of different industry sectors. The Senior Operations Technician will be a key member of a dedicated technical support team that provides a range of operational support functions within the specialist Binding Authority division. OVERVIEW: Production and renewal of Binding Authorities / Slips, ensuring all are in acceptable order in line with both Lloyd's and internal procedures/guidelines Production of Endorsements as appropriate Amendment of Wordings/Slips as appropriate Submitting documents to the Bureaux/XIS and ensuring all bordereaux are chased up, received, processed and paid to relevant bureaux within settlement due dates Producing debit/credit notes and processing premiums onto internal systems Maintaining internal systems accurately and efficiently Maintaining statistical information as required Ensure that company procedures and systems are followed and reviewed Manage own files as per internal Procedures Manual WHAT YOU NEED TO SHOW: Minimum 3 years previous experience in a similar role Good knowledge and understanding of London Market procedures Good knowledge of Lloyds Delegated Authority systems (DCOM, Atlas, DDM) Good knowledge of general insurance policies and underlying legal procedures Good knowledge of the regulatory requirements of general insurance in operation at any time WHAT IS ON OFFER: Salary to £45,000 p.a. + benefits package Flexible remote working Induction, training and on-going support REF: 9628 Interested?
