Associate Specialist in Adult Psychiatry

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Specialty Doctor or Associate Specialist to join a well established independent hospital for Adults in Leicester. The role will be working alongside an experienced Medical Director, Consultant Psychiatrist and 5 junior doctors. About the Hospital: The private hospital offers first class patient care and has a therapeutic approach to patient treatment. The hospital is supported by an experienced medical team, Physical health team, full MDT and nursing compliment. 30 Bedded Adult Acute Psychiatric Hospital Responsibilities of the role: Providing psychiatric assessments to new admissions to the ward Clerking new patients and reviewing mental and physical state overtime Delivering a range of interventions in the least restrictive environment Completing Tribunal Reports and maintaining patient records Providing support and guidance to Junior Doctors Completing Ward round with the consultant and MDT Involvement in person centered collaborative care and developing treatment plans Supporting Consultant as and when needed Ensuring effective communication with the team and completing handovers Benefits: Generous annual leave entitlement Study Leave Opportunity to be paid via Limited Company if preferred CESR Support available Company Pension Plan Company discounts and employee perks Free parking and meals on duty.
