Job Title : Physical Education Teacher Location : Nottingham Contract Type : Full-time, Fixed-term (Maternity Cover) Start Date : 28th October Salary : £31745 - £46526 We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school community on a temporary basis, covering maternity leave. This is an exciting opportunity for an PE teacher to deliver engaging and high-quality Physical Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will play a key role in promoting a love of sport, health, and physical activity among students. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging PE lessons in line with the national curriculum. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated to participate in physical activities. Assess and track student progress, providing regular feedback and support. Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the wider school sports and health programme. Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during PE lessons and activities. Person Specification: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Strong subject knowledge and passion for Physical Education. Proven experience teaching PE at Key Stage 3 and 4. Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities. Desirable: Experience of teaching or coaching a range of sports. Willingness to contribute to the broader life of the school.
