Responsibilities of the Mechanical Fitter: Working within a highly skilled team responsible for building and assembling new industrial rotating machinery Working directly from technical drawings & instruction whilst ensuring a high quality of workmanship Compiling reports on the quality of components on gearboxes essential, recording serial/ cast numbers keeping all documents in order. The Mechanical Fitter will: Hold formal qualifications within Mechanical Engineering (Apprenticeship, HNC, HND or similar) Have previous experience working as a Mechanical Fitter within a heavy engineering environment Have experience of working with Gearboxes and Rotating Equipment Working hours of the Mechanical Fitter: Regular day shifts working 37 hours per week Monday to Wednesday - 07:30 to 16:15 Thursday - 07:30 to 15:45 Friday - 07:30 to 12:30 In return, the Mechanical Fitter will receive: Renumeration: £36,080.00 per annum Holiday Entitlement: 33 Days including public holidays Immediate enrolment to the company pension scheme, up to 13% combined contribution Company life insurance Access to on-site canteen & gym Permanent & stable employment with a world class engineering/manufacturing business To apply for the Mechanical Fitter position, please click "Apply Now" and attach a copy of your CV.
