This permanent position offers the opportunity to inspire students in the exciting field of Computer Science across Key Stages 4 and 5. The successful candidate will be passionate about technology and education, delivering engaging lessons that challenge students to think critically and develop a strong understanding of programming, algorithms, and digital literacy.Key Responsibilities:Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured Computer Science lessons in line with the curriculum.Inspire students to develop an interest in programming, computational thinking, and real-world applications of technology.Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Computer Science exams, providing support for their academic development.Monitor and assess student progress, offering constructive feedback and support.Contribute to the development of the Computer Science department, including resources and schemes of work.Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes creativity and inquiry.Provide pastoral support to students, encouraging both personal and academic growth.About You:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.A degree in Computer Science or a related field.Strong subject knowledge of Computer Science and its application to secondary education.Experience teaching Computer Science at GCSE and A-Level.Excellent communication and classroom management skills.A passion for technology and a commitment to helping students achieve their potential.Willingness to contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities.What We Offer:A supportive and collaborative teaching environment.Continuous professional development and career progression opportunities.Access to modern teaching resources and technology.A vibrant, diverse, and inclusive school community.Competitive salary.We look forward to hearing from you!
