The successful candidate will be working with pupils who have been identified with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs) helping to improve Contract Details For Pastoral Teaching Assistant: Location: Blandford Forum, Dorset Position: Pastoral Teaching Assistant Type of work: 1:1 Intervention / Small-Group Intervention Start date: Immediate Start Contract type: Temp/Perm Full time/part time: Full-Time Minimum rate of pay: From £85.15 per dayExperience, Training and Qualifications Needed For Pastoral Teaching Assistant Role: Previous experience in education is required, ideally within the SEN Sector, although this is not essential providing you have the right attitude and desire. Previous experience working with challenging behaviour would be advantageous A passion for working with children with SEMH. Pro Active in the classroom and a willingness to join in with class activities. You should have lots of energy and enthusiasm with a positive attitude towards working with SEN students.
