Maintenance Engineer

Are you a Maintenance Engineer looking for a new permanent opportunity on an afternoon shift with a major steel company who are specialists in the Wednesbury area? If yes, we want to hear from you! Annual Salary: £38,000 to £40,000 (DOE) Weekly hours: 2pm - 10pm Mon to Thurs, 1pm to 8pm Fri (39 hrs a week) Key Responsibilities: Maintenance and repair of rolling mills, slitters and other machinery Planning and undertaking scheduled PPM'S (planned preventative maintenance tasks)  Diagnosing faults & repairing equipment Creating a spare parts solution plan Monitor breakdown and repair data using in house computer system Encourage continuous improvement and highlight deficiencies Attend meeting and training courses as required Ensuring that all machinery and equipment runs efficiently at all times with minimum downtime.
