We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Machine Operator / Warehouse Operator to join a successful manufacturing company - reporting to the Production Manager and working as part of a team - the successful candidate will have previously worked in a warehouse or machine operator role and ideally have experience of using a Band Saw, Chop Saw or similar .
Duties of the Machine Operator / Warehouse Operator will include:
- Following drawings and work orders to cut materials to size and correct thickness
- Checking materials and carrying out quality checks
- Inspecting first off, using tape, micrometers and calliper instruments
- Stamping and labelling finished goods
- Using forklift to move stock and some warehouse duties
The successful candidate will have previous machine operating experience and ideally have worked with metal parts and materials. You will be able to work from drawings and follow work instructions, as well as checking finished goods. In addition you will have good IT skills and enjoy working as part of a team in a fast paced, busy environment.
