General Foreman

I am working alongside a blue chip Tier 1 main contractor who operate across both the construction and civil sectors. Due to an increase in contracts being awarded they are looking to onboard a General foreman for upcoming highway and infrastructure schemes being delivered.

General foreman responsibilities:

• Working alongside and reporting to the project manager.
• Managing and allocating plant, labour and materials.
• Site supervision.
• Management of direct labour and subcontractors.
• Completing site inductions.
• Site diaries.
• Attending meetings with project management teams.
• Ensuring health and safety compliance.
• Liasing with the client.

General foreman responsibilities:

• Right to work in the UK.
• CSCS card - Gold/ Black.
• NVQ level 3 or above.
• SSSTS/ SMSTS.
• First aid.
• TWC - Desirable.
• Safety critical medical.
• HW passport - we can assist.
• Previous experience in a general foreman role.
• Previous experience with highways and structures.
• Full UK driving licence.
