Job Title: Estimator Location: Warrington Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 We are currently seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong background in structural steel to join a leading construction organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to contribute to the success of various projects through precise and timely estimating. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed estimates for structural steel projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Review project specifications and drawings to understand scope, requirements, and potential challenges. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to gather necessary information for estimates. Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and collect data for accurate estimating. Identify and quantify materials, labour, and equipment requirements through thorough analysis. Maintain accurate records of all estimates, ensuring timely delivery of quotations to clients. Communicate effectively with clients throughout the tender process, addressing any queries or concerns. Support continuous improvement initiatives in the estimating process.Qualifications: Proven experience as an Estimator within the construction sector, specifically in structural steel. Strong understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and industry standards. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
