Job Opportunity: Electrician – Stockport Are you a qualified Electrician looking for a new opportunity in the Stockport area? Join a leading organisation that specialises in improving communities through construction, maintenance, and refurbishment projects. We are looking for an experienced Electrician to join our clients growing team! Position: Electrician Location: Stockport Pay: £26 per hour About the Role: In this role, you’ll work as part of a dedicated electrical team focusing on fixed wire testing and associated remedial works across domestic properties. You’ll also provide support across a range of electrical projects, ensuring compliance with the latest regulations, including BS7671. This role will involve diagnosing faults, preparing reports, and planning upgrades where needed. You’ll manage your own workload and liaise with clients and customers while always adhering to Health and Safety guidelines. The position also includes being part of a rotating call-out schedule to ensure customer needs are met promptly. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct fixed wire testing and remedial work in domestic properties. * Identify and rectify non-compliant electrical installations. * Design and propose upgrades to meet current electrical standards. * Manage fault diagnosis and provide detailed reports. * Ensure all work adheres to current codes and regulations. * Collaborate with colleagues and clients to ensure high standards of customer service. What They're Looking For: * City & Guilds 2382 (IEE Wiring Regulations) or equivalent. * NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installations. * City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent in Inspection and Testing (preferred). * Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage your own workload. * Full UK driving licence.
