Plumber - Commercial Student Accommodation Project My client, a leading construction firm based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, operates across the Midlands and the North of England, providing expert services to the commercial construction sector. We are currently seeking an experienced Plumber for a student accommodation project in Sheffield City Centre. Plumber Roles and Responsibilities - Health and Safety: Must follow safety protocols, use appropriate personal protective equipment, and ensure a safe environment for everyone on site. - Pipe Installation: Install, connect, and test water supply systems, drainage, and waste pipes for the accommodation units. - Maintenance and Repairs: Address any plumbing issues that arise, including leaks and blockages, ensuring all systems are fully functional. - Reading Blueprints: Interpret technical drawings to understand pipe layouts and the location of plumbing fixtures. - Fixture Installation: Fit sinks, showers, toilets, and other plumbing fixtures in bathrooms and kitchens. Plumber Requirements - NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing or equivalent qualification. - CSCS Card is mandatory. - Previous Experience working on commercial projects, ideally in student accommodation or large residential builds. - Knowledge of Safety Regulations and ability to work in compliance with site safety standards. - Own Tools and PPE are required.
