Marketing Communications & Export Administrator Location: Sandwich Industry: Manufacturing Type: Fixed term contract (9-12 months) Salary: Competitive DOE Hours: Week 1: Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:45, Friday off Week 2: Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:45, Friday 08:00 - 16:30 We are seeking an experienced Export Administrator & Marketing Communications Lead to join our clients well- established manufacturing company based in Sandwich, Kent. As Export Administrator you will be responsible for all export licence related work, relating to bids, proposals, projects and tenders. You will be assisting with quotations, processing purchase orders, handling customer queries, issuing order acknowledgements & delivery schedules. As the Marketing Communication lead you will manage the daily marketing and communications activities, ensuring marketing material, including marketing website and social media. You will be responsible for managing the demo equipment, ready for any demonstrations, exhibitions, test and evaluations. You will manage the shows & exhibitions calendar, make bookings and prepare event admin briefs for participants. You will attend also S&BD events as agreed with the Sales & BD Director Within this role you will also support with security administration, including managing international visits and request for visit applications This is a fixed term contract for approx. 9-12 months. This position is subject to SC security level clearance, to obtain this you must have lived in the UK for 5 years or more. A valid passport & driving licence is essential to this role. Key Responsibilities: Manage the company website ensuring it is kept up to date with the latest information Manage social media sites. Keeping the company presentation slides up to date with the latest information. Responsible for maintaining company's brochures and data sheets, keeping the information updated and ensuring the latest versions are available on the website. Keeping all marketing material and demo equipment serviceable and ready to support the team. Managing all aspects of export control and licensing requirements, ensuring all orders are addressed in accordance with the company's export control policy. Provide expert advice on Export Control Licensing, dealing with internal and external agencies to ensure compliance is met. Liaise with operations for lead time estimates and production schedule updates for customers, as required. Log and follow-up new opportunities and inquiries received into the company's website/mailbox. Responsible for MARCOM and export compliance internal communication. Person Specification: - Previous experience in MARCOM & export control essential. Knowledge in export licence requests and management of process highly desirable Ideally, previous experience in delivering customer service or experience where personal communication and organisation are key factors for delivering a service. Excellent communicator with good written and spoken English skills. Proficient in use of Microsoft Office tools, Outlook, Word, Excel and Access databases. Numerate and comfortable with capturing and manipulating data from different sources to produce costings and pricelists. Attention to detail, organised and able to prioritise own workload with minimal direction and guidance. Valid driving licence is required Valid Passport is required as there may be a need for international travel.
