Construction Logistics Manager - Catterick Location: Catterick Duration: 6 months ongoing, likely extending up to 2 years Rate: £300 per day We are looking for an experienced Construction Logistics Manager to join a dynamic team on a long-term project in Catterick. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile project, managing all logistics, safety, and site operations. Key Responsibilities: Ensure logistics activities align with the project timeline and do not hinder progress. Set up and maintain internal/external traffic and pedestrian management systems. Oversee the upkeep of logistics routes, ensuring road cleanliness and safe conditions. Manage materials in and out of the site, coordinating with key contractors Provide logistics guidance to the supply chain and ensure full use of the DMS. Conduct safety inspections and ensure the team is up to date with necessary training. Deliver logistics awareness training to the site workforce. Manage plant and equipment operations, ensuring compliance and safety checks. Lead a team of operatives and gatemen to facilitate material distribution and waste management. Identify and provide necessary training for the logistics team. Proven track record in construction logistics or management roles Strong communication skills and proficiency in IT tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
