SEN Teaching Assistant - Behaviour Support (Mental Health TA) Primary Mainstream School - Bristol ASAP Start - KS1 and KS2 Are you looking to support children with additional learning needs? Do you have experience promoting positive behaviour? Are you interested in supporting young people's Mental Health? GRADUATES WANTED Experience working with children required An excellent Primary school in Bristol is currently recruiting for a SEN teaching assistant to join them ASAP. This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate or experienced teaching assistant to develop their experience with Special Educational Needs. A graduate with a degree graded 2:2 or above is ideal for this role and some previous experience working with SEN children is desirable. The position will be working 1:1 with pupils with Special Needs and Challenging Behaviour in the school. The SEN teaching assistant will have the opportunity to work closely with children who have mental health difficulties, display challenging behaviour and have learning disabilities such as Autism. This Primary school are looking for a confident, dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants who are enthusiastic and passionate about their input into a child's education. Ideally, the successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have excellent behaviour management skills and desirably some form of restraint training. 1 year contract ASAP start £83.33 - £96.15 per day Teaching Assistant -1:1 SEN SEN Teaching Assistant Graduates welcomed Great platform for aspiring teachers Bristol Primary SchoolThe ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will be able to commit for the full academic year and the expected salary will be from £83.33 to £96.15 per day. Relevant previous experience would include youth work, support work, mental health work and SEN in sport.
