Sample Preparation Coordinator Bedford £12.04 per hour Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm Temporary, Ongoing - ASAP Start 1st Choice Bedford is excited to be advertising on behalf of a reputable Bedford-based client seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Sample Preparation Coordinator. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and enjoys contributing to scientific and technical processes. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and process samples in accordance with established protocols and procedures. Ensure accurate labelling, documentation, and tracking of samples. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety guidelines. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks. Assist in maintaining inventory and ordering supplies as needed. Perform basic data entry and support administrative tasks related to sample management. Requirements: Previous experience in a laboratory, technical, or production environment is preferred. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management. Commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.
