Relief Driver - Harlow Basic Salary £42,650 + Overtime Excellent company benefits package Will except confident new drivers Our Client were pioneers within the UK construction materials industry in the late 1990's with the construction of the UK's first dry mortar plant. It is now the only national dry mortar producer operating across a network of nine manufacturing plants, dry mortars, renders, plasters and concretes are used by the major construction companies in the UK on housing, industrial, educational and infrastructure projects. This company also operates a state-of-the-art bagging operation which supplies the merchant and contractors' market with a range of bagged ready to use concrete, mortar and fence post mixes. This support driving position has been created with the goal of keeping the fleet operating during periods of holiday/absence in the staff driving team. While based at Harlow - the position requires flexibility as the candidate will be required to cover driving duties at any of the other 8 locations throughout the UK. The role will include other duties within the factory operations when driving duties are not available. These duties will be varied and will change to suit the day to day needs of the business. All reasonable travel and accommodation expenses will be met by the company when working away from the Harlow factory including a mileage allowance for use of a private vehicle. Please note 'THIS IS NOT A TRAMPING POSITION'. When working away from home you will be required to stay in hotels of the companies choice. Requirements A valid Class C+E HGV licence and Driver Qualification Card. Own transport All other training will be provided.
