Kingston Barnes is recruiting a Draughtsman for one of our clients in the Castleford area. The Company: The company are a market leading manufacturer of pumping solutions for the waste water and clean water industry. The Role: To effectively construct, design and contract manage pump projects from order receipt to delivery to the Customer within agreed timescales and required margins. Duties include, but aren’t limited to: * Creation and maintenance of accurate GA’s of Bills of Material within EMIR system * Contract Manage projects from order receipt to delivery to Customer including project planning, cost control and documentation management * Ensure all data recording systems are up to date including drawing/part revision and managing the engineering change process. * Occasionally concept design but the majority of this role is modification to existing designs, pipework dimensions. Taking pump models and then doing the general assembly drawings, pipe connections, tanks. BOM’s (using an ERP system) About you: * 5+ years within a draughtsman role * Experience designing Mechanical products (do not have to have come from pumps) * Strong working experience of CAD and 3D modelling preferably Solidworks * Minimum HNC or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. * experience using an ERP system * Experience managing design projects Package: * £35,000 - £42,000 per year depending on experience * Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 4:30pm, half day on Friday * 25 days annual leave + banks * Discretionary bonus * Statutory pension If you are interested, please call Ben Critchley on (phone number removed) or apply online *Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK to apply for this position* *Sponsorship is not available
