Position Summary:
Electrical Technician - to aid in production and repair of electrical and mechanical components
at the company workshop in Chesterfield
Roles can include:
Assembling, evaluating, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring,
equipment and apparatus.
Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment and apparatus.
Diagnostic and Fault-finding
Crimping and terminating
Reading and interpreting electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams, and
schematics.
Occasional site work - Rail Depots in East Midlands and Merseyside (accommodation provided)
Person Profile/Experience:
Rail / Rolling Stock Experience
HGV / PSV Experience
Heavy Engineering Experience
NVQ Level 3 / City and Guilds Level 3 / Electrical based Apprenticeship
