Critical Shift Engineer – Client Direct – Slough – 54k + Package Are you a skilled Shift Engineer with a passion for progression and development ? We have a fantastic opportunity for a Critical Shift Engineer to join a leading client direct company based in Slough. You will be part of a dynamic team, providing essential engineering support across a high-tech, critical Data Centre environment. This is an exciting role for someone with a strong technical background, excellent attitude, and a proactive approach to their work. Key Responsibilities: * Perform planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance across critical systems including UPS, Generators, LV & HV systems, and BMS. * Ensure the smooth running of all building services systems, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. * Take ownership of equipment performance, identify issues, and address them promptly to maintain uptime and efficiency. * Work closely with senior engineers and management to improve the performance and reliability of key systems. * Support the development of junior engineers and assist with training. * Be proactive in identifying areas for improvement and contributing to operational efficiency. Ideal Candidate: * Proven experience working with UPS, Generators, LV, HV, and BMS. * A strong, self-motivated attitude with a focus on delivering high-quality results. * Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. * A “go-getter” mentality, always looking to improve, learn, and take on new challenges. * A desire to progress in your career, with clear ambition to move into senior roles. * Experience working in a critical or high-demand environment is desirable.
