CNC Miller

We are looking for a CNC Milling setter/operator to join our fast-paced manufacturing team in South Woodham Ferrers.

Key responsibilities and duties:

• Using various measuring equipment (Verniers / Micrometers / Height gauge / Shadowgraph etc.) to ensure all parts conform to customer standards.
• Setting a variety of mills, both 3 and 5 axis.
• Setting and proving out new programs and providing feedback to the programmer.
• Deburring work in cycle where possible.
• Read and understand engineering drawings.
• Maintaining general cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with the production plan.

The ideal candidate must have:

• 5 years+ Milling experience.
• The ability to carry out first off, self-inspection and final inspection.
• Experience machining a wide range of materials.
• The ability to work and communicate within a team
• Experience setting 5 axis mills (desirable)
• Experience with Heidenhain controls (desirable)
