Our Specialist Education Team are always looking for candidates that are dedicated, reliable and willing to achieve their goals within a variety of roles supporting students. As a teaching assistant, you are expected to support students with accessing their individualised curriculum and education pathway. You will need to be build a strong and trusting relationship, be able to support them with their schoolwork and also just being someone they can talk to if they need to. Direct experience working within schools is not required however it is preferred, inexperienced candidates will be considered dependant on transferable skills. Masterclass Education provide CPD recognised online training, covering subjects such as Safeguarding, Autism Awareness, Understanding Child Development, Violence Reduction, and more, to all our candidates. The ideal candidate would need to start as soon as they can. Job Role: * To support the children’s progress across all areas of their development * Support and encourage positive behaviour management * Work with an individual (1-1) to support the class teacher in specific lessons * Ensure a safe and secure environment enabling pupils to feel relaxed and happy * To establish positive relationships with the children and staff within the school * To be committed to inclusive practice and making sure every child has the chance to be the best they can be * To be able to provide personal care if needed Master Class are the leaders across the UK in providing a unique, personal, and bespoke service to our schools and candidates.
