Trainee Site Manager – Bromley
Our client are a leading contractor based in Bromley with sites in and around London and Surrey, they are looking for an Trainee Site Manager join there team.
Job Description:
As a Trainee Site Manager, you will support the Site Manager in the coordination and supervision of all site activities. This role provides hands-on training and experience in managing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Site Manager in overseeing day-to-day site operations.
* Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations at all times.
* Monitor project progress and report on timelines and milestones.
* Communicate effectively with site staff, contractors, and stakeholders.
* Help in managing materials, resources, and subcontractors.
* Attend site meetings and assist with documentation and reporting.
Requirements:
* Previous experience or a strong interest in the construction industry.
* Relevant educational qualifications (NVQ, diploma, or degree in construction or a related field) preferred but not essential.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn.
* Valid CSCS card is desirable.
