Our client, a leader in the rail business sector, is currently seeking a Project Engineer Track to join their team on a contract basis. This role, based in London, involves working on a Network Rail project with an initial 6-month contract, operating inside IR35. The job offers a hybrid working arrangement with three days per week in the office, collaborating as part of the Network Rail engineering team. Key Responsibilities: Managing a complex portfolio of mainline railway infrastructure work Developing and assuring solutions from concept remit to implementation and hand back, effectively managing them over their lifespan Providing a variety of track assurance techniques, including: CAT-M, CAT-0, CAT-1 TRK/2500 design approvals, IRJ Recoveries, Tracker Variations for CSG_STP001, Management of Track Support Zone and Track Monitoring Plans, IDC/IDR attendance, CRT Management, Gauging, and Track Risk Assessments & Assurance Building strong relationships with stakeholders and sub-contractors Job Requirements: Experience in Track Engineering and Project Engineering Proficiency in Pway and other relevant rail engineering disciplines Track assurance expertise, including CAT-M, CAT-0, CAT-1 TRK/2500 design approvals and related techniques Strong project management skills with a track record of managing complex railway infrastructure projects Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and sub-contractors Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Effective communication and teamwork abilities If you are a Project Engineer with expertise in track engineering and are looking for a new contract opportunity, we would love to hear from you.
