Fund Accountant - Venture Capital

JSS Financial Services are partnered with a progressive Venture Capital fund who are looking for a bright ACA ready to take their first industry step. This person will ideally be Assistant Audit Manager or Audit Manager level, with exposure to Investment Management firms and auditing their funds specifically. Responsibilities: Performing accounting and fund administration for the venture capital funds investing in Europe and investments made into third party funds. Responsible for month end accounting and reporting process which includes the reconciliation of investment and cash transactions. Production of quarterly investor reports, General Partner board reporting, and annual fund financial statements. Preparation of carried interest calculations. Preparation of distribution and call notices and associated calculations. Responsible for managing the capital call process which includes the review of relevant investment approval memorandums and agreements, and the coordination with respective teams to execute the investment funding. Working closely with venture capital teams, treasury, legal and tax departments to support investment transaction processing and cash management. Assist with other group controlling activities and ad-hoc projects as required. Assisting the group audit and local fund audits, liaising with and providing assistance to external auditors. Ideal candidate: ACA Assistant Audit Manager or Audit Manager level Must have experience with auditing funds What's on offer?
