Passive Fire Protection Operations Manager

Location: London Type: Permanent Salary: 75,000 to 80,000 Per Year Posted on: 09/09/2024 Our client, an industry leading company in the Fire Protection market, is on the lookout for an ambitious Operations Manager To lead a team to undertake Fire Protection and Fire Door Installation & Maintenance projects throughout the London and the South East areas. The client is well positioned in industry and has undertaken projects within the healthcare, social housing, educational and commercial sectors. This role requires a deep understanding of passive fire protection techniques, regulations, and industry best practices. About the RoleKey responsibilities of this role would include but not be limited to: - Lead a diverse team through exceptional communication, motivation and delegation to achieve individual and business targets. - Plan, coordinate & execute projects from initiation to completion - Build and lead a team of skilled Project Managers, Site Managers, Supervisors & Technicians - Ensure compliance with relevant fire safety codes, standards, and regulations. - Collaborate to prepare accurate project cost estimates, proposals, and budgets - Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors. - Act as the primary point of contact for clientsAbout the CandidateThe ideal candidate will: - Show knowledge of passive fire protection systems, safety codes and standards. - Show an enjoyment and ability to management multiple projects concurrently - Give examples of their leadership approach, ability to motivate and manage others - Show the ability to think critically, analyses situations and make informed decisions - Demonstrate a good understanding of financial management, cost control, contract admin in order to ensure profitability and lower financial risks to the company - An understanding of passive fire protection systems, materials, and installation techniques - Familiarity with relevant codes and standardsPoints of Appeal: - Performance based bonuses - Company Car - Healthcare - Awards for early project completion - Employee of the month incentives - Health & Safety incentives - Continuous training and development
