SEN TA with EAL

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a positive difference in a multicultural primary school? If so, look no further. We seek a caring and passionate Teaching Assistant to join the team at a well-established primary school in Winchmore Hill, Enfield. The successful candidate will work with a diverse group of children from diverse backgrounds who have English as an additional language and some mild SEN. The ideal candidate will have experience with SEN, have a background in working with children who have English as an additional language, and have a good understanding of different cultures. We are looking for someone who is patient, empathetic and genuinely loves working with children. The successful candidate will be expected to:• Provide classroom support for students with SEN• Assist teachers with classroom management• Help to develop student's English language skills• Support students with learning activities• Work with teachers to develop appropriate learning strategies for students• Provide one-to-one support to students with SEN• Identify and assess individual student needs• Work with teachers to create an inclusive learning environment The ideal candidate will have:• Experience working with children who have SEN• Experience working with children who have English as an additional language• A good understanding of different cultures• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team• Flexibility and a willingness to learn• Speak an additional language/languages This rewarding role will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of children.
