Are you an experienced financial professional, with excellent problem-solving skills and advanced knowledge of Excel?
If so, we have registered a great opportunity with one of our prestigious higher education clients based in Oxford! The role is busy and fast paced and involves complex financial processing, monitoring, reporting and auditing relating to grants and projects As a Senior staff member, you will also be manipulating data and dealing with technical formulas, as well as investigating and resolving problems as they arise.
Starting as soon as possible, you will be working Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week, starting at 8:30am each day.
Senior Finance and Projects Officer (Grants) Responsibilities
Supporting the financial management of a portfolio of projects
Advising on the financial and administrational regulations that govern awards
Coordinating the production of quarterly financial reports and forecast
Closing projects
Invoicing and auditing for projects within a specified portfolio
Resolving problems and investigating anomalies effectively
Interacting confidently and diplomatically with senior colleagues
Manipulating data, creating complex formulae; using VLOOKUOS and Pivot tables
