Shuttering Joiners

Our client is a leading bespoke precast concrete manufacturer, known for delivering high-quality, custom-made concrete products to a diverse range of clients. They are now looking to expand their skilled team with an experienced Shuttering Joiner.

As a Shuttering Joiner, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling formwork (shutters) used to create moulds for concrete structures. This role is vital in producing bespoke, high-quality precast concrete components to meet specific design requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.
• Construct and install timber, plywood, and metal formwork for precast concrete moulds.
• Ensure all shuttering work meets the highest standards of accuracy and finish.
• Collaborate with the factory production team to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with company policies and health & safety regulations.
• Inspect and repair formwork, ensuring it is reusable where appropriate.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Shuttering Joiner, preferably within the precast concrete industry.
• Strong understanding of formwork systems and construction techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and plans.
• Excellent woodworking skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices relevant to the role.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Physical fitness, as the role requires manual handling and standing for long periods.
