Graduate Teaching Assistant (Secondary) Location: Cramlington Salary: £75 - £110 per day Start Date: ASAP Are you a recent graduate looking to begin a rewarding career in education? As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons, provide one-to-one support for students, and help create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities as a Graduate Teaching Assistant (Secondary): Support teachers in delivering lessons across various subjects. Provide individual or small group support to students. Help with lesson planning and preparation. Assist in maintaining classroom discipline and focus. Encourage and motivate students to achieve their best. Contribute to the overall well-being of students. To be a successful Graduate Teaching Assistant (Secondary), you need: A degree in any subject. Passion for working with young people. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well in a team. Previous experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential). A genuine interest in education and helping students succeed. Have an updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
