Logistics Coordinator, Limavady

Ideally applicants will have at least 2 years experience in a similar role, will be competent with all MS Applications and will have a full driving licence and access to a car. Job Purpose The logistics co-coordinator will support the project team in co-coordinating deliveries of our products out of the factory onto our clients sites. They will also organise deliveries of bulk materials from suppliers into the factory. The logistic coordinator will maintain accurate records of all deliveries and their loads for cross checking purposes. The successful candidate will be able prioritise their workload and deal with a demanding schedule and transport planning for multiple customers. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities Schedule and co-ordinate deliveries of water treatment products to multiple sites across the UK Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure the smooth running of the delivery schedule Maintain and update delivery schedule to facilitate changes and communicate to relevant parties Communicate with haulage companies and assist drivers with any queries Liaise with customers and suppliers to organise delivery/collection times Resolve any logistic issues or delays proactively Plan efficient routes for multiple deliveries Maintain records of deliveries leaving the factory including photographic evidence and checklists Arranging collections of materials from the UK into our factory Send materials from our factory to site as and when required Support with customs documentation Review and approve costs associated with deliveries and query where necessary Identifying trends and implementing improvements to the delivery process Essential Criteria GCSE English (C or above) GCSE Maths (C or above) Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role A full current driving licence and access to a car Proficient in MS Applications: Excel, Word, Outlook Ability to work locally in our Limavady Office Personal Specification Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills Ability to thrive in a busy work environment and adapt to changing priorities Desirable Criteria Experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment For further information on this super new position, please contact Kevin in strictest confidence on or forward your CV using the link below.
