Chief Technology Officer

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with a background in the amusement park, theme park, or entertainment industry to join our client’s executive team. Our client is a leading organization in family entertainment, with established operations across Europe and the Middle East and ongoing expansion efforts. The CTO will be instrumental in defining and implementing the company’s technology strategy, overseeing development teams, and ensuring that all technological initiatives align with the company’s commercial and strategic goals. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a robust technical strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business goals. Demonstrate extensive experience in software development, system architecture, and IT infrastructure. Lead, mentor, and manage the technology team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and professional development. Identify and incorporate new technologies to enhance products, services, and operations. Implement best practices in software development, testing, and deployment to ensure robustness, reliability, and comprehensive documentation of all technologies and systems. Develop and manage the technology budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources. Ensure all technology solutions comply with relevant regulations and industry standards. Implement robust security measures to protect company and user data. Establish standards of performance and monitor conformance for staff through performance reviews. Work closely with the stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure the technology strategy aligns with overall business objectives. Qualifications: Experience as a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) or in a senior technology leadership role, specifically within the amusement park, theme park, or entertainment industry . Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Expertise in software development methodologies, tools, and frameworks. Strong leadership and management skills Ability to monitor the platform architecture for scalability, security, and integration. Extensive experience with Magento development and architecture. Proficiency in .NET and C# programming languages. Demonstrated experience in developing and managing native apps for both Apple and Android platforms. Strong experience working within AWS environments and leveraging AWS services.
