Project Planner

Remote based My growing client is seeking an experienced project planner to provide specialist hands-on support for programme and project managers. You will play a proactive role in knowledge management to promote programme and project management methods and standards, and the implementation of best programme and project management practice. The role is fundamental to programmes of work so we are looking for a confident and experienced Project planner that can inform, update and really drive collaboration across the projects/ programmes you will be involved in. Responsibilities: ·Develop full scale project plans and templates ·Plan and schedule project timeline ·Support the Strategy, Delivery and Launch interactions to maintain on-time programme delivery ·Reporting to senior management actual performance and variance against the baseline plans and forecast outcomes ·Follow the change control process to identify risks or opportunities, update assumptions and dependencies logs, and ensure compliance against our internal procedures ·Reporting to the programme manager and supporting project managers with planning activities Requirements: · Possess extensive experience in project planning such as the successful scheduling or project and programme plans ·Strong working knowledge of planning software such as Microsoft Project (MSP) ·It is imperative that you have great communication skills alongside great project management skills. To measure success of the project plans it is important that you can be skilful in different styles of communication – what’s your idea of this please? Is the plan to progress them into a PM? Or you’d like someone who wants to stay at Project Planner ·Extensive experienced Project Planner and Scheduler for large scale and complex projects and programmes ·Experience of using all industry-standard planning software ·Excellent communicator ·Excellent rapport building skills
