What You'll Do:
- Safely carry out mechanical maintenance on gas handling assets, ensuring protection for both personnel and the environment.
- Prepare and implement mechanical isolations for plant equipment maintenance, ensuring top operational standards.
- Be a key member of the Emergency Response Team, contributing to safety and emergency procedures.
- Document and oversee safe systems of work, becoming an authorised person within a reasonable timeframe.
- Perform gas testing, equipment inspections, and report findings, promoting continuous safety and efficiency improvements.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in operations or maintenance within the oil, gas, chemical, or COMAH industries.
- Skills: Hands-on experience in high-standard mechanical maintenance on process plant assets.
- Qualifications: Recognised Mechanical apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3 (essential), HNC in Mechanical Engineering (desirable), and Health & Safety knowledge (e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH).
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to use CMMS systems (e.g., Maximo) is desirable.
