Commercial & Industrial Energy Consultant
Competitive salary (hybrid working - 2 days in the office, 35 hours per week)
Edinburgh, UK
Are you passionate about helping businesses navigate the transition to a decarbonised energy future? We are seeking an experienced Commercial & Industrial Energy Consultant to join a dynamic consulting team. This role focuses on supporting commercial and industrial (C&I) clients, such as energy service companies, energy retailers, and technology providers, as they develop solutions to reduce carbon emissions and improve energy efficiency.
As a C&I Consultant, you will lead and deliver innovative projects, providing strategic insights into technologies like industrial heat pumps, energy management systems, solar, battery storage, and EV charging. You'll work closely with a wide range of industry players to conduct market analysis, identify opportunities for growth, and offer expert advice on decarbonisation strategies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading market analysis and consulting projects for C&I clients across Europe.
- Developing relationships with key stakeholders in the energy industry.
- Managing multiple consulting projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality reports and presentations.
- Providing insights into emerging energy technologies and business models like Net Zero-as-a-Service (NZaaS) and corporate power purchase agreements (cPPAs).
The ideal candidate will have experience in the C&I energy space, excellent communication skills, and the ability to simplify complex concepts. If you're ready to become a thought leader in this growing sector and help shape the future of energy, we'd love to hear from you.
This is a hybrid role, based in Edinburgh, with flexible working arrangements.
