Position: Full time (35hr per week London), permanent

Location: London / Hybrid

We are looking for an experienced Account Director to join our Retail Week team in London.

As an Account Director on our marketing solutions team, you will be responsible for retaining and growing our existing retention clients, identifying new commercial opportunities and delivering excellent customer service, across the full RW portfolio, including the Retail Week Awards, and LIVE.

What you'll be doing:
  1. Maintaining, nurturing and upselling current retention clients allocated to the Account Director.
  2. Building a new business pipeline and identifying new opportunities, relevant to the brand content and retail audience.
  3. Being responsible for hitting personal target as well as helping the team to hit their overall target.
  4. Confidently sales planning and using your forecasting skills and Salesforce CRM to manage pipeline, customer conversations, and lead conversion.
  5. Acting as a brand ambassador for Retail Week at external events and meetings.
Requirements What you'll need:
  1. Previous hands-on experience in a client facing role.
  2. Proven success in meeting renewal and new business growth targets.
  3. Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as excellent presentation skills.
  4. To be customer service oriented with a passion to exceed client expectations.
  5. Strong organisational skills and be a detail-oriented individual, in addition to excellent time management skills to be able to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
  6. Must be self-motivated with a growth mindset, with the ability to work independently.
  7. Basic knowledge of computer skills, particularly of G Suite products as well as a knowledge of Salesforce.
  8. An interest or experience in global Retail.
