Cyber Security Consultant

Enso Recruitment, on behalf of our client, is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Consultant to join their team. Are you passionate about enhancing cyber security and helping organizations protect their critical assets? As a Cyber Security Consultant, you will have the opportunity to design and lead cyber incident exercises, conduct comprehensive security assessments, and work closely with clients to strengthen their security posture. This role involves hands-on experience in improving cyber resilience for organizations across various industries. Key Responsibilities: Design and deliver cyber incident exercises, both tabletop and live, tailored to the needs of global clients. Perform cyber assessments using recognized frameworks such as ISO27001 and SOC2, including risk assessments and reporting. Lead client engagements, from initial scoping to reporting, guiding them through security best practices. Support cyber maturity assessments utilizing frameworks such as NIST and CAF. Provide expert guidance on cyber security issues, risk mitigation, and improvement strategies. Ideal Skills & Experience: Extensive experience conducting risk assessments aligned with frameworks like NIST and CAF. Familiarity with industry certifications, including ISO27001, SOC2, and Cyber Essentials. In-depth understanding of vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and the tools involved. Strong background in Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) techniques to create realistic cyber incident simulations. Solid understanding of UK & EU data protection regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client-facing engagements. Ideal Qualifications: Proven experience in the cyber security industry, particularly with NCSC Assured Service Provider schemes. Experience working with certifications such as CHECK, Cyber Essentials, and other assurance schemes.
