We are seeking a dynamic Team Leader to join our clients ever-growing team and drive success through effective leadership and collaboration with management. Position: Team Leader Location: Thrapston Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 Doe Role Overview: As a Team Leader , you will play a crucial role in guiding and supporting the distribution team to achieve exceptional results and ensure operational targets are achieved in short time frames. Your primary responsibilities as a Team Leader will include: Inbound site rules, delivery planning, door control, visiting drivers, unloading, putaways. B2B agreeing service levels and deadlines, validate customer requirements, allocation, pick and process flow. Ecom allocation, pick and process flow, key contact with parcel carriers, maintain packaging levels. Inventory & analytics target 100% accuracy (physical and system recognition, master data, Distribution Centre capacity, produce KPIs). QA/QC validate product quality, carry out quality reviews, right to repair scheme, inbound percentage checks. Returns speed and accuracy, product quality, correct item disposal/return to stock, review return root causes. General promote strong team culture, site security, compliance, health & safety, housekeeping, internal & external communication, provide cover for other team leaders and DC Controller. Qualifications: Experience in Team leading and mentoring is preferred. Proven track record of successful team leadership and project management. Hands-on experience in multi-channel distribution operations, including eCommerce, B2B, and 3rd party logistics. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP software. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations, compliance, and site security protocols. FLT Licences are an advantage but not essential to the role as training provided.
