Warehouse Assistant

Role – Stores/Warehouse Assistant Salary - £25,000 - £33,000 per annum, dependent on experience Type - Permanent Location – Swindon My client manufactures bespoke machinery for a variety of sectors. They are looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join their team in Swindon on a permanent basis. The Stores/Warehouse Assistant will ideally have the following attributes: Experienced working in a Warehouse / Stores environment Must have counterbalance experience Forklift experience would also be beneficial but not required Knowledge of MS Office packages and strong computer skills Excellent organisation Knowledge of handling/shipping/storing dangerous goodsThe Stores/Warehouse Assistant role will involve: Managing stock levels Booking in parts and purchase orders Basic inspection of parts to confirm finish (training can be provided) Manual handling of goods/parts Picking jobs from BOMs list Controlling the stores area Arranging transport and shipping for goodsIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation
