Security Operations Manager

IT Security Incident Lead | £700 pd | 3-Month Contract | Outside IR35 We're looking for an experienced Security Incident Lead to step in and manage a series of ongoing security incidents for a client in transition. This is a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, and they need an expert to hit the ground running, helping manage incidents while the BAU team focuses on their core tasks. Key Responsibilities: Lead the response to security incidents using Microsoft security tools. Work with the team to strengthen incident management processes. Provide expert guidance in a Microsoft-based security environment, focusing on Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Azure Security Center, and 365 Defender . Handle threat detection, investigation, and mitigation with a hands-on approach. Collaborate with stakeholders to provide timely incident resolutions. Role Details: 3-month contract, remote £700 per day, outside IR35. Immediate start – you’ll be managing security incidents and improving processes from day one.
