Amazon’s Carrier Managers play a central role in our global business. Theykeep our complex, international supply chains working seamlessly andefficiently. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders across Amazon,from Operational teams who are fulfilling customer orders to Retail teams andeverything in between. You’ll help us optimise our supply chains to make ourcustomer experience even better and our business more energy and costefficient. Key job responsibilities Your teams responsibilities: - Continuous Improvement Management with carriers - Partner with teams to advise on and manage operational challenges - Support the planning and organisation of complex projects - Support Contract management and contract compliance for existing and newroutescarrier - Recommend Line Haul carrier allocation to routesreplacements (based onoptimum of cost and performance) - Prepare and participate recurrent Ops calls, business reviews, QBRs,Customer Service workshops (to support the improvement plans) - Develop relationships with Line Haul providers that facilitatecommunication and visibility across Amazon’s line haul network To be successful in this role, you need a passion for making data drivendecisions which will have direct impact on customer experience. Some keys toyour success are the ability to be an effective communicator to variousaudiences. The ability to remain flexible and adapt to learning new tools andsystems is instrumental in your role on the team. Our environment is deadlinedriven, fast paced, and requires you to be detail-oriented and comfortableinteracting and working with multiple teams (business and technical). A day in the life Being a Senior Carrier Manager for Amazon involves lots of problem solving.You’ll work with a number of teams to navigate challenges as and whensituations impact our network. You’ll spend time resolving temporary issuesand looking at the bigger picture to drive Amazon towards achieving newobjectives. This role is both proactive and reactive, and you’ll have theopportunity to help forecast and plan for new projects. As a Carrier Manager, you’ll need to help with both on-the-ground tasks andmore tactical work. No two days will be the same. Having so much variety inyour role means you’ll be able to learn something new every day. This role is based at one of our European headquarters. There may beflexibility to choose your location or work remotely on occasion. About the team Amazon couldn’t deliver at pace without the Amazon Transportation Service(ATS) team. As part of ATS, you’ll be welcomed into a diverse team that playsa central role in our success. Using air, sea and road transport, as well assortation centres equipped with the latest technology, you’ll help Amazon’stransport run at maximum efficiency. And we use the expertiseof our people to get packages to their destination – quickly, conveniently andsustainably. ### BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- A degree - Relevant experience in analyzing data and creating reports for leadership - Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders,including your peers and leadership - Relevant experience in managing multiple projects with competing deadlines - Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English ### PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Preferred qualifications are not required to apply for a position atAmazon.
