Roles & Responsibilities:
Carry out the range of hand assembly & packaging duties required to the set packaging specifications.
Produce products to the quality standards required & achieve set out-put rates.
Apply best practice standards in all areas of H&S, quality produced, standard operating procedures (SOP's) & data recording
Demonstrate good house keeping
Ability to run manufacturing machines.
Ensure PPE is maintained & used as prescribed
Create & maintain accurate records relating to assembly / packaging out-puts & down time. Ensure all paperwork including start-up check sheets are completed daily
Support & train other operators as required.
Sharing experience, best practice, relaying all relevant knowledge & information with colleagues
Any other duties as required by the Production Manager
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Experienced machine operator
Must have previous machine operating experience
Good standard of written English & Math's
Good communicational skills
Understand & use of measuring equipment - ruler, scales etc.
