SUMMARY * Secondary School * DT Textiles Teacher * Starting January * Duration 12 Months * Location Wandsworth * Salary £(Apply online only) Per Day * Degree in a Design & Technology Subject * QTS Essential JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, committed, and inspiring Teacher of Textiles to work in the Visual Arts and Design and Technology Curriculum Area. This is a Maternity Cover post, initially for two terms. The applicant would be required to teach some KS3 Design Technology, DT Textiles GCSE (DT Specification) and Fashion and Textiles GCSE and A-Level (both Art and Design Specification). The successful candidate will: • have a good relevant first degree and be QTS qualified by the start date • have the subject knowledge and experience to teach Design Technology at KS3, DT Textiles GCSE and Fashion and Textiles GCSE and A-Level (Art and Design Specification) • be able to motivate and inspire students to love Design Technology and Art • be committed to working successfully as a member of a team • have very strong organizational and interpersonal skills
