As a Systems Administrator at Luxoft you will be responsible for the implementation and management of our clients IT infrastructure, covering Windows, Linux and networks. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of systems and servers. Responsibilities: Stakeholder management (Wintel Head, INFR Head, CTO, Dev Head) Leading a team of Wintel engineers On-site customer daily technical management and support all required communication streams Support production environment and all Wintel services Propose deep technical solutions to complex tasks or issues Being able to investigate the issue independently and provide quick solution Experience working in Capital Markets, banks, asset management Continually triage Infra Engineering support ticket queue to (re)prioritise and assign to other engineers as necessary Manage, monitor and maintain IT Infrastructure services including support & engineering for core infrastructure applications and services, particularly Windows servers, VMWare virtualization, Pure & Netapp storage, Microsoft AD/AAD, Dell and HP server computing hardware virtualization and public cloud environments. Integrate, deploy and management of all essential Window server software packages Participate in Disaster Recovery program including managing and performing DR tests, maintaining processes and carrying out of live DR invocation Maintain and monitor all relevant Windows server, Pure/Netappstorage system and software patching to align with Cybersec requirements. Continual improvement of server and application performance and availability through automation tooling and scripts. Management of hardware and software refresh initiatives incl scoping, procurement, implementation/migration/decommissioning. Mandatory Skills Description: VMWare vSphere, Vcenter, ESXI, NSX, Horizon Storage area networks - Pure & NetApp hands-on storage skills including the configuration of snap management Backup systems HP and Dell server hardware and supporting systems Microsoft Windows server build and support (all versions) incl HA and clustering configurations Microsoft Active Directory on premise and Azure AD (particularly Group Policy) incl DHCP, DNS Amazon AWS in enterprise production environments incl management and use of Terraform. Microsoft Exchange 2016 / Office 365. Powershell scripting in enterprise production environments Microsoft SCOM & Logic Monitor monitoring Windows 10 & 11 desktops - performance troubleshooting and optimization. Microsoft SCCM/MECM Nice-to-Have Skills Description: Linux Proficiency in network protocols, security, and firewalls. IT certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or equivalent are a plus. Knowledge of server operating systems (Linux) and server hardware.
