Carpenter needed in Reading Monday to Friday Weekend working and response to out of hours call-outs may be required To carry out a combination of planned and reactive Handyman maintenance to maintain all building services systems in good working order, specifically in terms of reliability, performance, energy efficiency and user needs. Skills in construction, repair, restoration, and installation of wood and relatedmaterials. Undertake emergency light testing Responsible for all Carpentry work on client's sites to include construct, repair,restores and install structures such as floors, doors, walls, windows, stairways, furniture i.e., Kitchens/bathrooms etc Joinery- First line maintenance of fixtures and fittings, examples: Installs locks/door furniture including hinges, closures, and other fixtures to structures To undertake handyman duties as directed and to include Painting andDecorating/Plumbing- un-blocking sinks, traps, and waste pipes. To accurately record all works carried out and completed and identify anyremedial works to be undertaken on the documentation provided. To order materials and services using ordering system and to update recordsand job sheets to certify satisfactory delivery/completion Required: Holds relevant and current fabric qualifications, i.e., Joiner, Carpenter, Painterand Decorator or General Building skills; Level II qualification in carpentry/joinery or a recognised apprenticeship desirable. 3 year carpentry experience Full UK Driving LicenseLocation: Reading Temp - Perm £200 a day Please apply with your CV or call our office (phone number removed) IND1
