Maintenance Engineer - Days Only

Job role: Maintenance Engineer Salary: £40,(Apply online only)-£45,(Apply online only)PA (OTE £50,(Apply online only)+) Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire Hours: Monday – Friday / 40 hours pw days only Job Type: Full Time, Permanent The Package · Overtime available - time ½ · 25 days holiday + bank holidays · Life Assurance Training & Development on electrical & mechanical engineering Full machinery training Internal development opportunities · Long Service Awards The Role · Minimise production downtime, by carrying out routine scheduled maintenance (PPMs) and respond to unplanned breakdowns with the stipulated timeframes. · Ensure that production operations maximise output and minimise downtime safely through regular planned maintenance. · Respond to unplanned breakdowns in a timely and effective manner, working alongside engineering and production colleagues to minimise disruption. · Optimise the performance and lifecycle of operational equipment with regular preventative maintenance, working with the Production team, to identify and understand causes of equipment wear and underperformance. · Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns · Carry out all work according to Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments, SOPs, Dynamic Risk Assessments and company policies and procedures.
