We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in a SEND school supporting pupils aged 5 to 18. About the role: SEND Teaching Assistant (Full time, temporary) Bristol January 2025 – July 2025 The Role We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in a SEND school supporting pupils aged between 5 – 18. Working as part of an established team, the desired SEND Teaching Assistant will be supporting children with a range of needs: SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties), MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties), PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Disability) and ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition), either 1-1 or in small groups. This role will be Monday to Friday 8:30 – 3:30. The School This School based in Taunton provides support for Primary and Secondary aged children (5-18) who have ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition) as well as non-verbal needs. They closely track the progress of students to ensure they achieve more than they ever thought possible and guarantee that there is effective and prompt support and intervention when needed.
