Amazon’s Supply Chain Managers play a central role inour global business. They keep our complex, international supply chainsworking seamlessly and efficiently. As a Supply Chain Manager (SCM), you will work closely with multiplestakeholders across Amazon, from Operational teams who are fulfilling customerorders to Retail teams and everything in between. You’ll help us optimize oursupply chains to make our customer experience even better and our businessmore energy and cost efficient. Key job responsibilities • Champion the development of the operational elements of the Relay Carrier,define best practice and co-ordinate with Program lead and Training lead todeliver a best in class partner experience in all expansion countries. • Responsible for establishing workflows and standardizing Carrier engagementthrough the onboarding phases, while also reducing lead times and Carrierdefects while ensuring Carriers have a clear and customized growth plan withtimelines for their business to operate with Amazon. • Increasing efficiency and scalability in Carrier management by implementingaccount management tools and support the development of systems to improve thecommunication and interaction between Amazon and new Carriers in each of theexpansion countries. • Define, prioritize and plan the resources and technical requirements neededfor program to be delivered on time. • Collect market information and develop an strategy accordingly, ensuringalignment with corporate objectives and contractual obligations. • Develop and drive execution of a vision and goals for Carrier onboarding,education, and learning. • Have clear, precise, and regular communication with all stakeholders. Thisincludes ongoing projectprogram status reports as well as capturingrequirements. • Retrieve and analyze data using Excel, Access, SQL or other data managementsystems. A day in the life Being a Supply Chain Manager for Amazon involves lots of problem solving.You’ll work with a number of teams to navigate challenges as and whensituations impact our network. You’ll spend time resolving temporary issuesand looking at the bigger picture to drive Amazon towards achieving newobjectives. This role is both proactive and reactive, and you’ll have theopportunity to help forecast and plan for new projects. As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be engaging with Carriers Face-to-Face andtelephoneChime. Onboarding and coaching them around admin and regulatorycompliance in order to launch their business, Legal compliance, Safety andOperational Performance. About the team Amazon couldn’t deliver at pace without the Amazon Transportation Service(ATS) team. As part of ATS, you’ll be welcomed into a diverse team that playsa central role in our success. The Teams main objective is to take Entrepreneurs with little orno Transport experience and turn them into the most compliant HGV operators inthe overall Transport Network. ### BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- A degree - Experience in supply chain - Experience in program or project management - Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation orstandardization - Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts,multiple criteria lookups, nested logicalIF formulas, data cleansing, arrayformulas, etc.) - Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics todetermine improvements - Experience working cross functionally with tech teams ### PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders atvaried levels of the organization - Experience building processes, project management, and schedules - Experience of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results tosenior leadership - Experience of driving process improvements - Experience in stakeholder management, Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
