Humanities Teacher with ECT status or QTS, a passion for teaching, who is enthusiastic and creative, and has excellent interpersonal and communication skills is required for an Education Trust based in Hedge End, Southampton, Hampshire.

This role is working across History (possible specialism), Geography, RE and Education for Life. Candidates with either Qualified Teacher Status or Early Career Teachers will be considered.

SALARY: £30,000 - £46,525 per annum (Actual) + Benefits

LOCATION: Hedge End, Southampton, Hampshire

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent (Starting January 2025)

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a HumanitiesTeacherwith ECT status or QTS, a passion for teaching, who is enthusiastic and creative, and has excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

As the HumanitiesTeacheryou will join the Humanities department working across History (possible specialism), Geography, RE and Education for Life.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

As a Humanities Teacher you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status or ECT status
  • Ability to set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
  • Ability to plan and teach well-structured lessons
  • Ability to adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils
  • Excellent inter-personal skills, with enthusiasm and energy
  • Approachability and the ability to deal sensitively with staff, parents & children
  • Excellent administrative and organisational abilities, and an eye for detail
