Key Responsibilities:

• Support the purchasing team in sourcing and procuring materials and services for construction projects.
• Assist in the preparation and management of supplier contracts and negotiations.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
• Collaborate with project managers to forecast material requirements and ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Facilitate communication between various departments to streamline the procurement process.

Qualifications:

• Relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the construction or building materials sector.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office ; experience with procurement software is a plus.
• A proactive attitude and a keen eye for detail.
